Dog Boarding and DayCare
If you need to board your canine for the day, overnight, or longer, we can accommodate you. Our 2400 square foot training center is located on 1 acre nestled in a wooded area in central Orlando. There are 3 large fenced doggie play areas which provide plenty of space to run and play. Indoors is of course air conditioned for your pets comfort. Most Vet office daycares, doggie resorts or boarding facilities are set up where your dog is one of dozens lined up in cages or concrete stalls and let out once or twice a day for an hour playtime. Many places charge extra for every little activity, like a walk, or playtime, or social time. Not the case here at Dog’s Best Friend where all these activities are included. DAYCARE:
$25/day between hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm (dogs that are not picked up by 7:00 will be kept overnight and will incur additional boarding fee of $40) Reservations are required.
Includes: lots of playtime, socialization, fresh water at all times, and rest time. During very hot or very cold weather, dogs will be indoors most of the time. Kennel time is limited.
BOARDING:
$40/night – Check in after 7:00am and pick up by 7:00pm the next day is 1 night’s stay. (dogs that are not picked up by 7:00 will be kept another night and will incur additional boarding fee of $40) Reservations are required.
Includes: lots of playtime, socialization, 1 or 2 feedings (depending on your preference), fresh water at all times. rest time and bedtime in crate. During very hot or very cold weather, dogs will be indoors most of the time. Kennel time is limited.
Note: Play and socialization is arranged by size and temperament. All dogs will be evaluated upon arrival and placed in an appropriate group for playtime. Our staff monitors energy and activity level.
TRAINING: If you would like us to provide some training while your dog is with us, an additional charge of $35 per day will apply — number of days is optional. You can choose 1 day of training or every day your dog is here with us. We can address various training needs….basic obedience (sit, stay, leave it), come when called, leash walking, jumping on people/furniture, charging door when visitors arrive, excessive barking, etc. We can also teach your dog to run on a treadmill.

Important Info
Please bring your dog’s food in container that is marked with their name and the portion amount.
If your dog requires medication, we can dispense for you, however, we are not equipped to give injections.
We provide blankets and bedding for our overnight guests. You are welcome to bring familiar blankets or toys. To avoid possessiveness situations, these items will be allowed when your dog is resting alone in their kennel. Please: no rawhide treats.
All dogs are required to wear a strap collar or harness. Dogs must be on a leash when dropping off or picking up.
Questionnaire/Medical History form must be completed and copies of immunization records must be provided and Contract/Waiver of Risk and Release of Liability forms must be signed before dogs are boarded in our facility. Click these links to print out the forms:
